MakerDAO: DAI supply surged by nearly 1 billion in the past two months

BlockBeats reported that on May 9, MakerDAO officials said that the supply of DAI has surged by nearly 1 billion in the past two months.

After SparkLend adjusted the Stability rate and DAI borrowing APY, and the DSR rate increased, the supply of DAI increased from 4.4 billion to 5.4 billion in 60 days.

In addition to the supply growth, DAI set a new record in April, with on-chain transactions reaching $636.72 billion, becoming the stablecoin with the largest monthly on-chain transaction volume.
