Kazakhstan Pilots Support for Regulatory Fee Payments in US Dollar Stablecoin

BlockBeats News, September 5th, according to Cointelegraph, the financial regulatory authority of Kazakhstan has allowed payment of licensing and regulatory fees in a USD-pegged stablecoin.


The Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) of Kazakhstan, as the designated financial regulatory authority of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), has launched a project that enables AIFC members to use a USD-pegged stablecoin to pay regulatory fees.


The regulatory authority announced on Thursday at the local event "Astana Finance Days 2025" that the project has been officially launched and has signed a relevant Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMoU) with the centralized cryptocurrency exchange Bybit.
