The Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) of Kazakhstan, as the designated financial regulatory authority of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), has launched a project that enables AIFC members to use a USD-pegged stablecoin to pay regulatory fees.
The regulatory authority announced on Thursday at the local event "Astana Finance Days 2025" that the project has been officially launched and has signed a relevant Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMoU) with the centralized cryptocurrency exchange Bybit.
