2022-09-29 15:13
According to CoinDesk, the Delaware Department of Justice has frozen 23 wallets and accounts involved in the "pig Slayer" crypto scam. Billions of dollars were stolen in scams in 2021, according to blockchain research firm Cipherblade. On August 19, Coinbase issued a notice warning that it was concerned about an increase in the number of love investment scams known as "pig slings," in which scammers use dating apps and social media to find and build "trust with victims" before committing cryptocurrency scams.
