Binance.US hired a former FBI agent to lead its investigation

US cryptocurrency trading platform Binance.US has hired former FBI agent BJ Kang as its first head of investigation, the Wall Street Journal reported on Oct 21. Kang will work closely with law enforcement, regulators and other cryptocurrency companies, Binance.US said, and Binance.US will build its own "investigative infrastructure" to identify and mitigate cryptocurrency-related criminal activity on the platform.
