Improbable Defense & National Security, a military metaverse company, shut down

According to BreakingDefense, Improbable US Defense & National Security, a subsidiary of Improbable, has announced that it will officially close this week, Caitlin Dohrman, the company's president and general manager, confirmed the decision on LinkedIn and called it "heartbreaking." Improbable US Defense & National Security, which Improbable US Defense & National Security creates a military metauniverse for the US defense sector, The company's board of directors includes former Acting Undersecretary of Defense Kerry Christine Fox and former Acting Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Michael Kratsios. Improbable disclosed a $100m funding deal in September, but the FTX bankruptcy put pressure on the deal and prompted the decision to close its military metaverse subsidiary, according to the FT.
