Bahamian regulators are trying to recover ownership of FTX real estate worth $256 million

2022-12-13 17:12
BlockBeats News, December 13, CNBC reported that Bahamian regulators' attempts to recover property from FTX's U.S. bankruptcy proceedings made it administratively invalid and illegal under Bahamian law for such property to be managed in U.S. courts. Bahamian lawyers say FTX executives Sam Bankman-Fried and Ryan Salame spent $256.3 million to buy and maintain 35 different properties in New Providence, Bahamas.
