Northern Data, a bitcoin miner, mined 2,798 bitcoins in 2022, up 315 per cent from the previous year
According to BlockBeats, on January 12, Northern Data, a German bitcoin miner, mined 2,798 bitcoins in 2022, a 315% increase over 2021, and sold 3,005 BTCS at an average price of 23,849 euros. Cash receipts of €71.7 million, Northern Data currently has about 3.6 EH/s of computing power dedicated to bitcoin mining. However, 177 bitcoins were mined in December 2022 due to high energy prices, down 15% month-on-month and 25% year on year.
Northern Data said it was relocating its ASIC miners to an "energy price optimised location" to ensure production stability and optimum capacity utilisation to meet its production target of 350 bitcoins per month.
