France will tighten registration conditions for cryptocurrency companies in January
The registration conditions for cryptocurrency companies in France will be tightened in January 2024, but not to the extent originally demanded by the country's upper house, the Senate, according to plans published by a committee of lawmakers from both houses of the French Parliament on February 13, BlockBeats reported. New applicants will have to meet additional rules on internal controls, cybersecurity and conflicts of interest, according to documents submitted by the commission. The document will go to the Senate for approval on February 16 and the National Assembly for approval on February 28.
