San Francisco is the top city for cryptocurrency venture capital, representing 45.16% of the total capital managed by the top 50 cryptocurrency venture capital firms globally, followed by New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Austin, London, and Shanghai. Furthermore, despite experiencing a bear market, 2022 was still the biggest year in history for cryptocurrency venture capital, with over 26.2 billion USD of new capital invested in the market, surpassing the 25.1 billion USD invested in 2021.
