BitRock Capital plans to raise a new fund of $100 million to invest in digital assets, Web3, and other related areas.
According to BlockBeats news on March 22nd, BitRock Capital CEO and co-founder Alfred Shang stated in an interview with Bloomberg that with the support of logistics real estate operator GLP Pte, BitRock Capital aims to complete fundraising for a new fund in the third quarter, with a target of raising $100 million.
The new fund will target software-as-a-service and digital opportunities in China, fintech companies in Southeast Asia, and global startups in the digital asset infrastructure and Web3 fields.
Established in 2018, BitRock Capital has invested in more than 20 companies, including Swiss digital bank Sygnum bank, London digital asset exchange Archax, and Hong Kong virtual insurance company OneDegree.
