According to BlockBeats news on April 2nd, as reported by Decrypt, Spiral, a Lightning Network project supported by Jack Dorsey, released a new roadmap for their Lightning Development Kit (LDK). Unlike the most commonly used software implementations of Lightning Network, LND and C-lightning, the LDK team aims to be more modular and flexible, making it easier for developers to build (especially mobile) Lightning wallets and applications. The new roadmap includes two unique features: LDK Node Mobile, which provides a simpler setup for creating nodes, and "asynchronous payments," which will be the main focus of LDK next year.
