Coinbase's derivative trading platform will launch institutional futures products on June 5th, including Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts.
On June 2nd, BlockBeats reported that Coinbase, a cryptocurrency trading platform, announced that its derivative trading platform, Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, regulated by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will launch its institutional futures products on June 5th, including Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts. The Coinbase Bitcoin (BTI) futures contract and Coinbase Ether (ETI) futures contract have a size of 1 BTC and 10 ETH per contract, respectively, and can be traded through third-party futures commission merchants (FCMs) and brokers.
