Polyhedra co-founder and CTO Tiancheng Xie: Polyhedra's DID solution is more interoperable while retaining the original features of ZK-DID.
On September 11, Tiancheng Xie, co-founder and CTO of Polyhedra, spoke at the "Build for Miracle" summit hosted by Metastone and BlockBeats on the topic of "Opportunities in the ZK Narrative". Xie stated that Polyhedra is mainly focused on the interoperability of ZK because they understand that ZK can be used in many areas. They first use ZK to protect privacy, followed by scalability and security, but they are more concerned with interoperability. The ZK-DID they are building is actually a collaboration with many partners, including SpaceID, ESPECTA, and other financial service providers. They provide a solution to help them use ZK-DID in different places. This is still an extension of the ZK-Bridge they are building. Essentially, when they have a DID on a chain, even in the Web2 space, they help them migrate it to multiple different chains while maintaining privacy, integrity, and efficiency. Therefore, they retain the original features of ZK-DID but add an interoperability layer to the DID, allowing DApps on different chains to directly use ZK-DID. This is the DID system they are working on because DID should be universally accessible on all different systems.
