Alchemy acquires blockchain data indexing platform Satsuma.
BlockBeats reported on September 26th that Web3 developer platform Alchemy has acquired blockchain data indexing platform Satsuma. As part of the deal, Satsuma will merge with Alchemy and operate as Alchemy Subgraphs, with no specific terms of the transaction disclosed.
This acquisition occurred under bearish conditions in the cryptocurrency market, but Alchemy's product manager Mike Garland stated that the deal was unrelated to the bearish environment. "Their team has built an excellent product and rapidly grown a passionate user base, reminding us of Alchemy's early days. Integrating Satsuma's team and technology into Alchemy is the obvious next step in continuing to solve the biggest pain points for developers."
Satsuma is Alchemy's second acquisition following the purchase of Web3 developer education platform ChainShot in August 2022.
