BlockBeats reported on October 11th that the development team of Stellar is beginning security checks on its upcoming smart contract platform, Soroban. Stellar is collaborating with security firm Certora for the audit.
Soroban is currently running on the testnet and will provide developers with a new mechanism to deploy smart contracts, expanding the application ecosystem based on the Stellar blockchain. The platform uses WebAssembly (WASM), a binary code format designed specifically for integrating traditional networks and blockchains.
