Fireblocks has hired the former deputy superintendent of virtual currency at the New York State Department of Financial Services as its new Director of Digital Identity.
BlockBeats news, on October 24th, according to The Block, cryptocurrency custody company Fireblocks has hired former deputy director of virtual currency at the New York State Department of Financial Services, Peter Marton, as its Director of Digital Identity. He will help develop compliance products based on programmable blockchains.
Peter Marton will report directly to Fireblocks' Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Jason Allegrante. In addition, Chaitanya Reddy Konda, a cryptographer who helped create Nightfall (a Layer2 Rollup blockchain developed jointly by EY and Polygon), will also join Fireblocks as Senior Technical Product Manager for Digital Identity and Privacy.
