SlowMist Security Reminder: Beware of phishing URLs disguised as wallet addresses.
BlockBeats News, November 15th, security team SlowMist issued a security alert on their blog, stating that a new type of phishing scam has emerged.
The scam usually starts with "over-the-counter trading" as the reason, and the scammer will ask the victim to transfer a small amount of funds, such as 0.1 USDT, to verify whether their address is at risk. Then, the scammer sends a so-called "public chain" receiving address (actually a phishing URL), and emphasizes that the address must be entered in the wallet browser to complete the transaction. Once the victim enters the "public chain" address in the browser and authorizes it, the assets in their account are stolen.
