SEC: Despite the settlement reached between Binance and the Department of Justice, the lawsuit with SEC should still proceed.

According to BlockBeats news on December 9th, Binance Holdings Ltd. recently reached a $4.3 billion settlement agreement with the US Department of Justice, which the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) considers to be supportive of their lawsuit against Binance. Although the SEC did not participate in the settlement agreement, Binance and CZ had previously asked the court to dismiss the SEC's lawsuit. Binance and CZ have not commented on this statement at present.
