RWA protocol Ondo Finance token will be unlocked for circulation on January 18th.

According to official sources, Ondo Finance's RWA protocol token ONDO will be unlocked and made available for circulation on January 18th, after a community vote on the blockchain. As previously reported by BlockBeats on December 28th, the Ondo Foundation proposed the "Unlocking ONDO Token" initiative, which aims to achieve its decentralized governance vision through the use of ONDO as a governance token for Ondo Finance. According to ONDO's token economics, the total supply of ONDO is 10 billion, with the following allocation: community access sales: 198,884,411 (~2.0%); ecosystem growth: 5,210,869,545 (~52.1%); protocol development: 3,300,000 (33.0%); private placement: 1,290,246,044 (~12.9%).
