iCandy has entered into a strategic partnership with Matter Labs to launch Layer2 Hyperchain - zkCandy.

BlockBeats reported on January 18th that Matter Labs and iCandy have announced a strategic partnership to jointly develop a specialized zkSync game and a Layer2 Hyperchain focused on artificial intelligence, named zkCandy. As part of the collaboration, Matter Labs' zero-knowledge (ZK) stack framework will be used to deploy the game-specific Hyperchain, while iCandy will leverage its rich traditional and Web3 game expertise to develop and launch hundreds of traditional and Web3 games, and work closely to develop a new Layer2 Hyperchain. The two companies will establish a joint venture named zkCandy Limited, and jointly invest resources and capital to build an ecosystem around the zkCandy superchain. zkCandy will begin developing and deploying three casual Web3 games on zkSync in the first quarter of 2024.
