BlockBeats news, on May 2, BNP Paribas, the second largest bank in Europe, recently disclosed its purchase of Bitcoin through a 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The document shows that BNP Paribas purchased shares of BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF. According to regulations, large institutional investors who manage more than $100 million must disclose their quarterly holdings through 13F filings. BNP Paribas, with a total asset management scale of more than $600 billion, although its investment in IBIT is about $40,000, which is relatively small, is critical for one of Europe's largest banks to start increasing its holdings of Bitcoin through ETFs.
