BlockBeats news, on May 25, MetaLeX, founded by the famous cryptocurrency lawyer Gabriel Shapiro, announced the completion of a $2.75 million seed round of financing, with a company valuation of $27.5 million. This round of financing was led by Cyber Fund.

MetaLeX is a hybrid enterprise that integrates a law firm and a technology company, dedicated to providing governance standardization solutions for crypto projects in the process of decentralization. Shapiro said that MetaLeX's first product is an operating system for a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), which can help DAOs "robotize" their governance decision-making process, with built-in rules enforced by smart contracts for managing funding, emergency shutdowns, and venture capital investments on behalf of entities. Shapiro calls it the "Cybernetic Organization," or "BORG."
