The whale bought about 41,000 BTC (US$794 million) at an average price of about US$19,000 in the 2022 bear market.

Then, in the bull market of 2023 and 2024, 37,000 BTC (US$1.74 billion) were sold at an average price of US$46,800, earning more than US$1 billion. This is the first time the whale has purchased BTC in a year and a half.
