BlockBeats news, September 20, according to Bloomberg, the prototype of the "Big Short" Steve Eisman said he "doesn't know" who will win the US presidential election-overturning an earlier prediction that Trump will win-but he said that the market will perform well in any case except a Democratic sweep.
"I take back my prediction," Eisman said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Thursday, referring to President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw from the election. In July of this year, he said that Trump would win whether or not this happened.
Eisman said that if the Democrats win the Senate, the House of Representatives and the White House, the market will fall straight down under the expectation of rising taxes. But if Harris enters the White House and the Democrats do not win a sweep, then the market will be "fine." Eisman reiterated that his portfolio is mainly composed of artificial intelligence, technology stocks and infrastructure sectors.
