BlockBeats reported that on October 3, according to Downdetector data, hundreds of Telegram users reported problems connecting to Telegram servers starting around 18:30 on October 3. The most reported problems included problems sending and receiving messages and other connection problems on the application.

It is reported that this connection incident affected users in Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Netherlands, and Germany.
