2025-02-08 09:04

BlockBeats News, February 8th, Renowned pop culture artist Ye (Kanye West) posted on social media, stating that someone proposed to offer him a $2 million reward to issue a Meme coin to defraud his fan community. Kanye himself has rejected this "collaboration" request.

According to the chat screenshots posted by Kanye, this "collaboration" requested Kanye to promote a RUG pull Meme coin, prepaying $750,000. After posting for 8 hours, Kanye could announce that his "account has been hacked." After posting for 16 hours, he would then pay an additional $1.25 million. The mastermind behind this scheme claimed that this "collaboration" could generate tens of millions of dollars in profits.

However, another screenshot posted by Kanye suggests that he himself is seeking to contact Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong to discuss some "cryptocurrency-related matters."

Currently, according to Polymarket data, the "odds" of Kanye launching a token have "soared from 30% to 46%."
