The SEC has announced that the Fourth Cryptocurrency Roundtable will be held on May 12th.

BlockBeats News, May 5th. According to official sources, the Cryptocurrency Asset Special Working Group under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released the detailed agenda and list of attendees for its roundtable scheduled for May 12th — "Tokenization: Bringing Assets on-chain — The Intersection of Traditional Finance and Decentralized Finance."


This roundtable is part of the SEC's cryptocurrency asset regulation series of activities initiated since March and will be held at the SEC headquarters from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM local time on May 12th. The meeting is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the SEC's official website.


Furthermore, the date for another roundtable event "DeFi and the American Spirit," originally scheduled for June 6th, has been rescheduled to June 9th. Previously registered participants will be automatically transferred to the new date without the need for re-registration, while new participants can continue to register.


Attendees from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission include: Chairman Paul S. Atkins, Cryptocurrency Working Group Office Director Richard B. Gabbert, Commissioner Hester Peirce, and others.


Other attendees include: Cynthia Lo Bessette (Fidelity), Eun Ah Choi (Nasdaq), Will Geyer (Invesco), and others.
