After a Violent Kidnapping Incident, the French Government Commits to Providing Additional Security Measures for Cryptocurrency Entrepreneurs

BlockBeats News, May 17th, according to politico report, a group of cryptocurrency entrepreneurs in France and their family members will receive enhanced security measures after experiencing two successful kidnapping incidents and one attempted kidnapping incident.

The French Ministry of the Interior stated that these measures include priority access to the police emergency hotline, police visits to their homes, and the provision of security training to help the individuals understand best protection practices. Law enforcement officers will also receive 'Anti-Crypto Asset Money Laundering Training'.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated in a statement on Friday: "In response to the series of kidnapping incidents targeting professionals in the crypto industry, specialized measures will be implemented, including immediate and short-term actions to prevent, deter, and stop such behavior, thus protecting this industry."
