Based on USDT, the Layer 1 network Stable has officially announced that it uses USDT as Gas and supports fee-free peer-to-peer transactions.

2025-06-09 13:17

BlockBeats News, June 9th. According to official sources, the first Layer 1 network based on USDT, Stable, was officially announced. The project is supported by Bitfinex and the USDT Unified Liquidity Protocol USDT0. The network uses USDT as its native Gas, enabling free peer-to-peer USDT transfers. Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, is an advisor to the project.

Stable is positioned in the market for financial institutions rather than retail users. Its internal testnet is currently live, and the team is guiding early builders to explore SDKs for wallet, application, and custody integrations.
