BlockBeats reported on June 18 that the Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex experienced a hacking attack. Nobitex's official statement indicated that their technical team detected unauthorized access signs in parts of their core infrastructure and hot wallets. All access was immediately suspended, and their internal security team is closely investigating the severity of the incident. User assets stored following cold storage standards remain completely safe, and the incident only affects a portion of assets in hot wallets. Nobitex has pledged to take full responsibility for this event.
Additionally, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, a significant outflow of funds from Nobitex has been observed on the Tron blockchain, with the cumulative amount reaching $48.65 million.
