Analysis: Pro-Israel hackers transferred the stolen funds from Nobitex to a black hole address, making them unrecoverable. This act appears to be purely political satire rather than profit-driven.

BlockBeats News, June 18, according to a report released by the on-chain data analysis firm elliptic, the recent attack on the Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex is evidently linked to the recent escalation in tensions between Israel and Iran. The pro-Israel hacker group "Gonjeshke Darande" ("Predatory Sparrow") has allegedly stolen funds, which are now stored in addresses commonly referred to as "trash talk addresses," with public keys containing variations of the phrase "F*ckIRGCterrorists" (a slur targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps).

elliptic noted that this attack does not appear to be profit-driven. The addresses used by the hackers were generated through "brute force" methods—requiring extensive computational power to produce key pairs containing specific long text strings. This indicates that "Predatory Sparrow" likely does not have control over the private keys for these addresses. This "fund destruction" action seems to be aimed at sending a political message to Nobitex.

SlowMist founder Cosine also confirmed this information, stating that the stolen cryptocurrencies worth over $80 million were transferred to addresses which are very likely to be black holes, effectively destroying the funds directly.
