The Plasma network is scheduled to launch its mainnet by the end of summer.

BlockBeats News, June 20th, according to Decrypt's report, Plasma is preparing to launch its mainnet in "late summer," which is a blockchain designed specifically for stablecoins.

Plasma's founder and CEO, Paul Faecks, stated that the blockchain will support the "largest stablecoin by volume" at launch, based on internal data.

Faecks added: "We are building a blockchain to be the best product for moving stablecoins from point A to point B. Everything around it has to serve this goal, otherwise it's not worth it for us."
