BlockBeats News, July 1st, the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and the U.S. Department of Justice announced nationwide action to crack down on North Korea's remote IT work scheme defrauding U.S. companies, including the arrest of a U.S. citizen accused of providing a "laptop farm" to North Korean operatives.


The operation involved the seizure of 29 bank accounts, closure of 21 fake websites, confiscation of over 200 devices, recovery of over $900,000 in stolen cryptocurrency, and infiltration of over 100 U.S. companies.
