Jack Dorsey has launched the decentralized messaging app <b>bitchat</b>, supporting offline end-to-end encrypted communication.

BlockBeats News, July 7th, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey launched the decentralized peer-to-peer messaging app bitchat. The app runs on top of a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh network, supports ephemeral encrypted message transmission, full offline chat capabilities, and enables communication in anti-censorship and disconnected environments. Messages can be relayed through nodes, reaching distances of up to 300 meters.
