Metaplanet intends to raise up to approximately $3.828 billion to increase its Bitcoin holdings.

BlockBeats News, September 2nd, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet has received shareholder approval to raise up to 555 billion yen through preferred stock issuance for Bitcoin investment, approximately 38.28 billion U.S. dollars.

On September 1st, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet once again acquired 1,009 bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 20,000 BTC.
