BlockBeats News, September 4th, according to The Block, data shows that centralized exchanges (CEXs) Ethereum's August and weekly spot trading volume exceeded Bitcoin (BTC) for the first time in at least seven years.
Throughout August, Ethereum consistently surpassed Bitcoin in the seven-day cumulative spot trading volume of centralized exchanges, ending Bitcoin's long-standing dominance in global spot trading volume. The total Ethereum trading volume on CEX platforms is close to $480 billion, while Bitcoin is around $401 billion.
