Ethereum Foundation to Establish "DAI" Team to Promote On-Chain AI Development

BlockBeats News, September 15th, according to official sources, the Ethereum Foundation will establish a "DAI" team to promote on-chain AI development. The team aims to make Ethereum the preferred settlement and coordination layer for AI and the machine economy.

Team leader Davide Crapis stated that he believes Ethereum can not only serve the futuristic vision but also has practical value for today's AI developers. Therefore, we will work closely with ecosystem projects to accelerate research and innovation at the intersection of AI and blockchain, bridging the two long-separated technical communities. The team will collaborate with the EF protocol and ecosystem teams to align protocol upgrades with the needs of AI builders and fund innovative public goods that will make Ethereum the best home for AI.

It is reported that Davide Crapis is a research scientist at the Ethereum Foundation. As a core Ethereum developer, he has led the ERC-8004 proposal (also known as "Trustless Agents"), which is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) that provides a trustless interaction standard for AI agents, allowing AI agents to discover, validate, and transact without intermediaries, supporting on-chain registration of identity, reputation, and verification.
