Coinbase CEO Confirms Base is Exploring Issuance of its Native Token

It could become an important tool to accelerate decentralization and drive the growth of creators and developers within the ecosystem. It should be noted that there is currently no definite plan. We are simply updating our vision. So far, we are still in the exploration phase."
