BlockBeats News, September 16th, Kaito founder Yu Hu tweeted that yesterday Boundless (ZKC) completed its first public sale distribution, but the user experience did not meet expectations. The Kaito team sincerely apologized for this and pointed out that the main issues included: distribution delays, high Ethereum Gas fees in smart wallet usage, and wallet loading failures due to traffic overload.
The distribution delay was due to integration issues with partners, resulting in a delay of approximately 1.5 hours in token distribution to user wallets; some users experienced high Ethereum Gas fees during the initialization of the smart wallet and usage process, mainly due to a short-term Gas peak on the Ethereum network and smart wallet initialization consumption. The surge in traffic also caused website congestion, affecting transactions and transfers.
To compensate users, Kaito will today refund 120% of Gas fees to users who have already withdrawn or traded, and users who have not yet taken action will also receive additional Gas quotas that can be fully withdrawn on Base. The team advises users to check their smart wallets and confirm the refund before 24:00 Beijing time and provides Discord community support.
