Yunfeng Financial has appointed former Ant Group executive Jiang Guofei as the Chairman of the Web3 Development Committee

BlockBeats News, September 19th, according to the South China Morning Post report, Jack Ma-backed Yunfeng Financial Group has appointed former Ant Group senior executive Jiang Guofei as the Chairman of the Web3 Development Committee.

Jiang Guofei previously served as the President of Ant's Digital Technology Business Group, where he was responsible for leading the financial technology giant's blockchain initiatives. After joining Ant Group in 2017, he played a key role in the launch of Trusple, a cross-border trade blockchain smart contract platform. Following his departure from Ant in 2024, he served as Chief Scientist at the state-owned enterprise China Electronics.

Yunfeng Financial has described Jiang Guofei as one of three key figures representing the company's "strong Web3 DNA and talent pool," with the other two being Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, and Liang Xinjun, Co-founder of Fosun International, both serving at Yunfeng as independent non-executive directors.
