BlockBeats News, September 28th, Hyperliquid announced that its mainnet has launched the permissionless spot quote asset feature, where stable asset deployers can enable the spot quote asset status. The USDH deployed by Native Markets is the first permissionless spot quote asset, with the HYPE/USDH trading pair already live. More permissionless trading pairs will be deployed in the future.
Any quote asset can be part of the initial spot trading pairs in HIP-1, and additional pairs between existing base tokens and quote assets can be deployed through permissionless Dutch auctions, independent of the HIP-1 token auction.
BlockBeats Note: Permissionless Spot Quote Assets refer to tokens that, on a DeFi protocol or blockchain mainnet, any user or asset deployer can, based on on-chain rules (without centralized approval), set their token as a quote asset in a spot trading pair.
