BlockBeats News, September 29th, Aster CEO Leonard, in an interview with Mable, founder of the Social Protocol Trends (@Mable_Jiang), responded to the question, "Based on on-chain data, a few addresses hold 96% of the total ASTER supply, so what's the situation with these addresses?":
"I have also seen some community tweets mentioning this issue. In fact, we cannot control all the tokens in these wallets. According to our tokenomics, about 80% of the tokens will be locked on-chain, which everyone can monitor. The addresses holding on-chain airdropped tokens account for about 40% of the total supply. Among other top addresses are Aster's spot deposit addresses, where holders keep the tokens in platform addresses, possibly preparing to sell at any time, especially since the token price has risen significantly.
