Thailand Cryptocurrency ETF to Expand to Assets Beyond Bitcoin

BlockBeats News, October 2nd, according to Bloomberg, Thailand is planning to expand its domestic cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund (ETF) program from Bitcoin to other digital assets, expected to launch in early next year.

Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) Secretary-General Pornanong Budsaratragoon stated that the SEC and other relevant agencies are drafting rules for the new ETF provided by local mutual funds and institutions, further elaborating on the plan announced earlier this year.
