BlockBeats News, October 15th, According to official sources, Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom service provider (the world's third-largest mobile network), announced today at the Aptos Experience event that it has established a strategic partnership with the Aptos Foundation to launch a blockchain-based user rewards program. This collaboration aims to bring a new digital interactive experience to Jio's approximately 485 million users.
Under this program, Jio will issue blockchain reward tokens called JioCoin on the Aptos network. Users can earn JioCoin by browsing content or participating in interactions within the mobile app and receive corresponding rewards. Currently, JioCoin is still in the testing (Beta) phase, has not been officially minted, and is only available for use in the India region. Officials have stated that more details will be announced in the near future.
This collaboration further solidifies Aptos as the preferred blockchain infrastructure for global enterprises, providing a new example for the on-chain exploration of mainstream consumer applications.
