Arkham: US Government Allegedly Seizes Chen Zhi's $2.4 Billion Worth of BTC

BlockBeats News, October 16th, according to Arkham Monitoring, a wallet associated with Chen Zhi has once again transferred $2.4 billion worth of Bitcoin. This transaction comes after a previous disclosure of the seizure of $14.1 billion worth of Bitcoin, indicating that the U.S. government may have seized an additional $2.4 billion worth of Bitcoin from Chen Zhi.

Currently, these Bitcoins are held in an unauthorized wallet address that has not been mentioned in any court documents, and this operation may be part of a seizure action that has not yet been formally announced.

On October 14th, the U.S. Eastern District of New York (EDNY) announced that the U.S. is seeking to confiscate 127,271 Bitcoins related to a transnational Ponzi scheme operated by Cambodian national CHEN ZHI.
