BlockBeats News, October 23rd, according to Reuters, two sources familiar with the matter revealed that Apollo Global Management, Oppenheimer, Jane Street, and HSG, formerly known as Sequoia Capital China, all participated in the recent funding round of the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, valuing Kraken at around $15 billion.

Last month, Kraken completed a $500 million financing round, with the participation of these institutions highlighting the accelerated entry of traditional financial institutions into the digital asset space, an industry benefiting from Trump's pro-crypto stance and his administration's supportive regulatory policies.

In addition, Qube Research & Technologies, Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi, and his co-founded venture capital firm Tribe Capital also participated in this funding round. According to a source, this funding round has paved the way for Kraken's upcoming IPO in the coming months.
