BlockBeats News, November 6th. On November 5th local time, U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Schumer and House Democratic Leader Jeffries called on President Trump to meet with bipartisan congressional leaders to discuss ending the government "shutdown" and addressing healthcare policy issues.

The two Democratic leaders stated in their letter: "Democrats are ready to meet with you at any time." As of now, Trump still insists on not negotiating with them until Democrats vote to reopen the government. (FX168)
