BlockBeats News, November 13th, the U.S. House of Representatives has cleared a key procedural hurdle, paving the way for a full House vote on the appropriations bill already passed in the Senate to end the government shutdown. As the government shutdown entered its 43rd day, House members on Wednesday pushed the bill to the next stage with a vote of 213 in favor and 209 against. The appropriations bill will now undergo one hour of debate, followed by a final vote.

The White House earlier stated that Trump hopes to sign the bill to end the government shutdown tonight (Thursday morning Beijing time). (Golden Finance)
