Crypto startup Gauntlet has raised $23.8 million at a $1 billion valuation, led by Ribbit Capital and led by Polychain and Paradigm. Gauntlet's platform provides services for DeFi protocols and decentralized organizations, assisting in risk management and more. Users of the Gauntlet platform include protocols such as Aave, Compound and SushiSwap. Gauntlet previously closed a seed round in 2018 and a $4.3 million round led by Paradigm in 2020.
