LayerZero financing revealed new investors, including Multicoin and Nike Foundation chairman

Multicoin Capital has invested in interoperability protocol developer LayerZero Labs' latest A+ round of funding. Multicoin Capital, which led the company's SERIES A round, also revealed the other participants in the round in its announcement, including: Animoca Brands, Silver CEO Rene Marcelo Claure, Avalanche Ecological Fund, Polygon Ecological Fund, Fantom Ecological Fund, Dapper Labs, Kronos Research, Ethernity, ImToken Ventures, Matrixport, Gemini, And angel investors Tom Brady, the American football player, Justin Timberlake, and Maria Eitel, chair of the Nike Foundation. As previously reported by Rhythm, LayerZero Labs closed A $135 million Series A+ funding round at A valuation of $1 billion, led by FTX Ventures, Sequoia Capital and A16Z. Coinbase Ventures, PayPal Ventures, Tiger Global and Uniswap Labs participated.
